On Wednesday the children in year 3 went on a paleontologist adventure. In the morning the children investigated informative displays and wonderful scale models of the world in various stages of evolution. These included dinosaur models and genuine fossil specimens. In the afternoon the children learned about the Earth’s spectacular fossil treasures and learned about how to excavate fossils. The children also got a visit from 'Mary Anning' who gave them an insight into her life as a paleontologist and fossil collector.
