The hills are alive with the sound of music!

Well these last few weeks we have been focussing on our Year 3 and Year 4 production "Dragon Days."  The children have been practising the songs and getting to grips with the lyrics and I am delighted to say that the songs are really good and have great catchy tunes and lyrics.  We are really looking forward to performing for all of you on Tuesday 8th May, you will be fully entertained by the music and the script.  Year 4 have practised diligently and it is very funny.

The hot weather is here so please ensure that you send your child into school with a water bottle and that they put on suntan lotion before coming to school.

This term we will be going on a school trip, the details will be sent out very soon.  The trip will enhance what we are learning about in our topic work where we are studying the Bronze Age and the Iron Age.

This term we will be having sports day so please will you ensure that your child has the correct items for PE and that they are in school everyday.  We will be practising on days when the weather is fine and not just on Mondays and Fridays.

There are lots of interesting activities planned for this term and hopefully if the weather stays dry we will try to use the outdoor areas for some of our lessons.
