This week we have been very busy getting ready for our production of 'Dragon Days'. Earlier in the week the children came home with a costume letter - if you have not seen one please pop in and we can give you another. The children have been working very hard and the singing sounds wonderful. It promises to be a fantastic evening and we hope to see many of you on the day. A letter regarding tickets will hopefully be coming out on Monday.
In between rehearsals, the children have been learning about angles in Maths. They have been learning how to identify different angles, investigating what a right angle is, and looking at whether other angles are larger or smaller than a right angle. They have also been learning the difference between perpendicular and parallel lines. In English they have started a unit on 'shape poems' and have been creating some calligrams this week about different animals.
We look forward to watching each member of the class make their First Holy Communion over the next few weeks. We are keeping all the children in our prayers at this special time and think particularly of those making their First Communion in Wheathampstead tomorrow.
Have a lovely weekend!
