Welcome Back!

A very big welcome back to everyone after a lovely summer break! The children have had a great first week in Year 3 and have settled into the new routines incredibly well. It has been a long first week and the children coped remarkably well, although i'm sure they will be looking forward to a weekend off!

Thank you to all those who were able to make the parent meeting this week. If you were not able to make it, please just pop in and we can get the information that was shared to you. The children came home with their homework folders yesterday and these should be back in on Wednesday. The children have also been given a day that their books will be changed, although the children should have their reading records in school everyday.

Over the next couple of weeks we will continue to start and explore our topics for this half term, including 'the sunshine state' in geography, magnets and forces in science, as well as making 'moving posters' in DT. We will also be looking at fables in English.
We are looking forward to an exciting half term!

Have a lovely weekend!
