Animal Encounters

Animal Encounters
What a wonderful afternoon for 3W!  Today we were visited by many wonderful animals from the rain-forests and deserts of the world.  To name but a few, the children were able to see and touch a crocodile, a Red Foot Tortoise, a Burmese python, a pancake tortoise, a parrot and many other species. Having the opportunity to see the animals at such close range was amazing and there were definitely a few worried faces when the opportunity to hold a huge, hairy black spider arose!  But we managed to find a few brave volunteers with nerves of steel.  Our current Geography topic is about Jungles and Deserts so having these amazing animals in our class room really brought our topic to life.  Take a look at our amazing photos!
