Sports Day

Luckily the rain held off and we all headed out on to the field for a great morning of sporting fun! The children were brilliant as always and showed great sportsmanship and team spirit; cheering each other on and supporting each other throughout all the events. Every single member of the class should be very proud of what they achieved this morning, they were fantastic! Here are a few pictures of the morning:

Sleeping Beauty-The Ugly Truth

We hope that you enjoyed the amazing show produced by 4A and 3W.
The children put their hearts and souls into the performance and it was a privilege to be part of it.  My photos do not do the evening justice so please send us yours to add to the collection.

Mrs Jackson-Robbins, Mrs Pope and I would like to express our thanks for the beautiful flowers that we received.  It was extremely kind of you.

Please take a look at our photos.  We are so proud of the children and we know that you too were amazed by the quality of their performance.  The beautiful singing had many of us reaching for the tissues.
What a talented bunch of pupils that we have in 3W!   (and 4A!)

Thanksgiving Mass

What a wonderful day we have had today! The children led us superbly in their Thanksgiving Mass this morning and they all looked absolutely amazing. Thank you to all those who were able to come and share in this special Mass with the children, it was lovely to see so many of you there. The children should be very proud of how they conducted themselves both during the Mass but also throughout the entire day.

This afternoon the children enjoyed sports games on the field, a picnic and some movie time at the end of the day. They were all impeccably behaved and it was a truly lovely day.

Last week!

It has been such a busy start to the half term we are little behind updating the blog so apologies. On Thursday we had a wonderful time at Westminster cathedral celebrating the school's fundraising efforts for the Catholic Children's Society. For many (including myself), it was the first time they had been inside the impressive building and it really was a very special occasion.

Looking wonderful at Westminster!

On Friday we enjoyed our special lunch celebrating the Queen's Birthday before heading out on to the field for lots of sporting activities. The children were brilliant and had lots of fun, despite it being rather hot!

This week we have been very busy rehearsing for our Thanksgiving Mass and for the play next week. All of the costumes for the play should now be in school, so if they are not could they be brought in ASAP please. Thank you

We look forward to seeing some of you at the children's special Thanksgiving Mass tomorrow!
